    Hey guys

I hope you can help on this!

I am new to PC gaming and built a new rig last month:

    Core i5 4670K
    Asus GTX 780
    8GB GSkill Trident 2,400mhz
    Asus z87 Pro
    Corsair AX760i
    Silver Stone Ft02b
    Samsung 840 evo
    Dell U2713hm

I have the card overclocked to 1145mhz and run Assassins Creed IV and Crysis 3 on max settings at 50 to 60fps at 1400p resolution.

The only thing I am noticing is that on the cutscenes only, there is an element of flicker or possibly screen tearing, especially on faces or when the camera pans round the whole distant landscape as in assiassins creed.

    Gamplay is unaffected.

Does anyone know what is causing this? Is there a workaround?

It doesnt make sense to me why the tearing would only occur on cutscenes!

    Kind regards

    Mark

Cutscenes the game will be running at 100+ FPS enable vsync and it will solve itself. That's the flaw of Ingame cutscenes. Metal gear revelations suffers from similar issues on pc.

Cutscenes always look like ass. They're usually a video or something.

It's only in 40gb games that they actually look half way presentable.
