Hi All, I used to use -beta as my default flag for GPU WUs (yes I know I'm not supposed to) but I started getting 10416 WUs which my 660/650Tis didn't like, I got half the points of 8900s, so I changed to -advanced. This didn't seem to make any difference so I'm currently running with nothing but I'm picking up 75% core15 WUs which are even worse than 10416s. Any ideas which is the best flag? (Yes I know it isn't about the points )
You probably switched due to the lack of core 17's. I'm getting 8900's with the beta flag on my 3 HD7970's. 100k a pop. I had dropped down to about 5K each when there weren't any core 17's.
No, 10416s are the new core17 beta WUs they give a lot less points on my 660Tis. I was trying to avoid them, but as you say there is a lack of normal core17 8900s so swithcing away from beta just gave me core15 WUs.
Ahh not seen these new core 17's. Think I'll stick with beta as anything other than core 17 gives me atrocious points on my AMD's.
