Retail cards generally do all the outputs - Like the asus Geforce 3 deluxe and gainwood golden sample (i think). They have Dvi, vga and s-video out usually.
Ati retail cards also have dvi, vga, and tv out and a dvi to vga adapter so you can run 2 vgas at once. Cause ive got an ati (/me hears everyone from graphics forum sigh and mutter curses under their breath :D) they have "hydravision" software. Dunno if its any good yet though, seems bloody easy to use (pnp style) you just select what output you wanna use from display properties. I think you can do TV and moniter at the same time... not sure - will have to check.

    How about a face-off...

How about pitting a Radon 8500 against one of the better GF3 Ti500`s? Testing on a high-end Athlon XP system, and including popular games comparisons, 3dmark 2001 scores, dvd playback thru Televsions, and modding/overclocking possibilites?

    Don`t want much do I! :D

MSI geforce 3 ti 500.. or the Gigabyte Radeon 8500?

im confused cause of the DVI and Svid out like radeons, but it has a cunky cooler and ramsinks so i assume Ti 500 more. MSI the only ppl i know that make red pcbs too. But then ive realised that the ram is only on 1 side and i can see that the Video encoder chip is either connex or philips so its a Geforce 3 ;)
