    Well, thats put a right downer on an otherwise good day.

    I was brought up with his comedy, Red Dwarf and The Young Ones were my favorites during the 80's, his brief appearances in Black Adder, The New Statesman are all my favorite comedies.

    Going to sit and watch Bottom tonight to celebrate a great comedian

    I am open mouthed speechless at the news, what the hell happened indeed.

    I grew up watching Bottom and The Young Ones, wore out my old VHS tape of Bottom Live I watched it so many times, I cannot believe he is gone, way too soon.

    Such a loss. Rik is one of the biggest comedy icons of all time and will be sorely missed. Thanks for all the memories :waah:
