Allo all, So! I've been meaning to upgrade my computer for a number of years, and the only thing I can imagine I really need to upgrade is my GPU. The poor little computer chugs during hefty moments in some games, and oddly enough, during some intro-logo movies for most games (Skyrim, for example) Current System Specs Mobo: M4N78-AM CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ RAM: 4GB GPU: nVidia GeForce 8400 GS - 512MB OS: Windows 7 Home 64bit / Gentoo Now for day to day running of the computer, it chugs abit (and only occasionally throws out an 0x00000e1 BSOD) but is overall pretty stable. Some games work well with the card, and others seem to absolutely hate it. So, would I need to build a new system from the ground up, or would I be able to just upgrade the necessary components to make it run like a fatkid down a hill chasing a cupcake? TL;DR Comp too slow, ideas?
