Peripherals Logitech G5 Mouse - Favourite Weight?

Just got myself a G5, which I know many a B-Ter has. So my question to said peoples, whats you're favourite weight configuration?

4.5-0.0-4.5
4.5------4.5

 

On my V1, empty, but with the cartridge still in there. On my V2, two 4.5G weights on the outer edge, nearest the center of the mouse to make it feel like the V1...

About two years ago I had:

4.5-1.7-4.5
1.7-1.7-1.7
4.5-1.7-4.5

But the desk I have now is stickier and negates the need for weights.

Purely preference. The mouse is already heavy enough. Same thing for my G9. Damn heavy.

It has been like that since I got it, and though I have never experimented with anything else, have no need to change it.

thats what i'm runnig on....
though currently i using onw of those plastic sheets used to bind books/dossiers/files as my mousepad

 

I load all the weights in there, nice n heavy

 

Same. I like the feel of a heavy mouse.

 

I'm digging capnPedro's setup.
Not to light, not too heavy.

I am using a rather slick surface though, so the extra weight definitely seems to balance things out a bit.

 

:/ I wasn't aware there was a version of the mouse with a 3,3,3 cartridge. Mine only has 2 holes in the middle column. Must be an old one. This mouse really has served me well. Nicest mouse I've ever used in fact.

I will very sad when it dies.

Same here, don't like it too heavy.

 

didnt realise that people had that much preferance i thought it was a gimmick i have mine as heavy as possible couldnt tell you the layout

how many layouts did you try before deciding on your favourate

Actually, the mouse has been losing connection lately and is getting on my nerves.

 

Spent a day on BF2 pissing about.

It's not a waste of my time. As my time is worthless.
