So there's a kind-of photo contest wrapping up at the end of this month and I would like to make sure that the correct winner is chosen, as I have a lounge that's fairly empty at the moment on account of a severe lack of furniture, and in particular the lack of this chair (but certainly not in that colour). The "theme" is, buy a sofa from this company, and take a photo of you or a family member using said sofa, and we'll give you a chair if you win. Clearly this photo is the most superior photo on offer. Just look at the complex juxtaposition of large sofa and small baby, the richness in colour, contrast in lighting and superb framing. Additionally, there's the overwhelming cuteness, and the appreciation of how difficult it must be to get an 8 month old (at the time) baby to stay put, look at the camera and smile. I would be tremendously appreciative if anyone who cares to would follow the link... http://www.fama.es/photo-contest.html ... scroll all the way to the end, and vote for said photo, but only if they think it merits it. The competition is judged by a panel on the 5 top votes, so it's not to win, just to get through. There will be punch and pie. Thanks guys and gals! EDIT: If anyone is very bored or wants to show the utmost commitment, you're welcome to bookmark and vote once every 24 hours until the competition closes
I have voted sir! it's surprising how many people have that sofa but have taken inferior photos to yours. Yours is just about basically perfect. Kudos. (very jealous of that sofa - though, I wouldn't have the space for it in my house, looks delightfully comfortable though.)
There's some stiff compeition there tbh. I mean, there's one with a dog. And then the one with the cat. Hmm. Tricky.
I like the 'light to dark' moving across the frame. It shows the child walking the fine line between good and evil, while managing to convey a level of innocence that would indicate her ignorance to both. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the votes all! If anyone is very bored or wants to show the utmost commitment, you're welcome to bookmark and vote once every 24 hours until the competition closes It is indeed comfortable, but does take up quite a bit of space - footprint of around 8'x11' in the "mega-sofa" formation that it's currently in. This is in a cinema room, so it's not the largest room and wouldn't be big enough for it as a traditional lounge, but it's a fairly focussed room - big TV, big speakers, big sofa, nothing else. The whole system is modular though, and there's a bunch of different units available in more fabrics than you can imagine, so there's bound to be something to suit. There's even a configurator - http://www.fama.es/arianne-en-4-73.html This is exactly what I was going for, I'm glad you got the message. I hope the sheer emotion of it all didn't make you well up in tears, yearning to return to that time of innocence yourself.
One last bump before the competition closes. Anyone that's already voted can do so again if they so wish. Thanks all!
