Evening all, I was wondering if you could shed some light on the best laptop for my budget. Budget: ~£300 (will spend more if absolutely necessary) Purpose: This will be for my girlfriend's sister for university so it needs to be able to do all the basic stuff (word processing, powerpoint, excel, outlook, web browsing, iplayer, netflix etc - nothing too taxing) and be relatively robust as she is a bit of a clutz. Specific requirements: ideally i5 processor (as it is still mid range) to give it a bit of longevity and a decent amount of storage, webcam (for skype etc) and that is about it.
