Google Play - £2.99 per issue or £34.99 per year.

Zinio - £4.20 per issue or £42.00 per year.

That's a good deal, and I find the HTC one X great for reading digital mags. The nexus 7 has tempted me so much for mags but it's only a bigger screen nothing else, I can use a PC for bigger.

I'm a long time print subscriber and I've double checked and my 12 month print cost is £31.98 but the Zinio price for the same is £41.99 - that's quite a difference.
As it happens the Google Play price is now about the same as my current print so that's acceptable.

Looking at my other magazines from other publishers, Zinio and Google Play are very similar.
With Dennis Publishing, the Zinio prices are significantly higher £7 and £12 higher per year.

What is up with the Zinio pricing, it seems strange that there is such a large difference.

Lol, so we got the email from Google saying the mag had made it onto Google Play today.

Nice one for keeping us in the loop big G....

Quick question about subscriptions.

Is there going to be a monthly subscription price as well as the yearly subscription like many other magazines on google play offer?

I only see a yearly subscription right now which is a shame.

It gives me the choice of a year for £34.99 with a 14 day trial or £2.99 per mag.

Hmm, that's a mistake on our part I think - there should be a monthly option (it's actually part of the contract with Google that there is).

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, i'll look into it and see what's up and get back to you.

Right, we've just updated the CPC listing (no idea why it wasn't correct), though i'd give it a couple of hours to show.

We also updated the trial period to 30 days (it was set at 14).

We'll also be adding international pricing soon, as currently it's only in the UK store.
