I've decided to go back to matx. I do like mitx but I prefer the added flexibility of matx so I'm going back to it. However, the two cases I'm really interested have no CD drive bays. These would be the Carbide Air 240 and the Fractal Node 804 (I think, 304 is itx, right?).

I love the the look of these cases and do want a cube case like these, but the lack of a 5.25" bay is a killer as I have a blu-ray drive that needs to be in. I could get an external enclosure for it, but that's more money on top and I don't want to spend that much.

The other case I was keen on was the 350D, but it has too few 3.5" bays. I want at least 3, it has 2. I could mount one drive in the other 5.25" bay, however.

Anyway, I've had a look around but nothing else really tickles my fancy. Anyone got any suggestions on other cases or how I could deal with the deficiencies of the above cases?

Not bad! Only 2 3.5" bays, however.

What's you budget ? What are you going to fit inside of it (number of drives, GPU length, CPU cooler, etc.) ?

    Good question. I will have:
1 GPU (GTX 660) and want room to add a second. Hopefully I can add one soon on the cheap.
    1 SSD
    1 Blu ray reader
At least 3 HDDs (2 currently with room to add more)
    H60 AIO cooler

As for the budget... £50 - £80 I guess. I can be persuaded to spend more if worth it.

Aerocool DS Cube? I think it'll fit what you want in it:

    Drive Bays:

    External 5.25" bay x 1
External FDD 3.5" bay x 1 (can also install 1x3.5" if no FDD installed)
    Internal HDD tray x 2 (for 2.5" or 3.5")
    Internal HDD rack x 1 (for 2 x 2.5")

I had one of these before I tried mitx. It was a solid case and I am tempted again.

I'm going for the 350D. Turns out I can but an extra drive cage for 2 drives and it's only a fiver. It should fit in just fine as long as I'm not running 2 long GPU's, which I won't be, so I am happy. The good bit for me is it's currently on offer.

    Thanks for the help all!

How about the TJ08-e? I currently have one and they're pretty damn good. You can fit a second GPU and it has a large, removable hard drive cage. It'd have no problem fitting a GTX 660 in with the HDD cage.

Also, it's whisper quiet with great airflow.
