Hi all, I am trying to get my old desktop up and running again. Replaced mobo and cpu. Gygabyte GA-EO43-DS3L mobo, intel 2 core 2.66.

When I start it up "veryfying DMI Pool Data" message then just continues restarting in the loop.

    It's a Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L.

The board was working fine before I posted it, I would check all your connections are in fully and also try things like re seating your ram and gpu.

Are you testing it in the case if so check that nothings getting shorted out on a standoff or something.

Also try with each single stick of ram, you may have a dodgy stick, all four slots were populated when I ran it so all the slots should be okay.

Nothing wrong with the board, I am pleased with it. I re-seated everything and did a fresh install of O/S which I was going to do anyway and all was fine.

Is there some way of indicating that a query has been solved so as not to waste others time.

You can edit your original post, then go advanced, then stick [SOLVED] or whatever you want after the title.
