    This is getting beyond ridiculous.

    I can't remember where I read it, but I hope the guy who's got the patent for opening doors never shows up.

    This just in, misleading headlines cause people to jump to conclusions!

    I took a brief look at the article, and came to the conclusion that Apple is not being sued because OSX boots too fast (no, seriously). A technology company is suing Apple because it believes Apple violated a patent for a technology that improves boot times.

    It doesn't boot fast at all. My desktop boots and starts Windows 7 64-bit far faster (no SSD).
    Heck at work, our old Core 2 Duo Dell computers boot faster (and loads Win7 64-bit faster)
