We have pull strings in the en-suite and master bathroom - I may have to invest in one of those hidden video capture devices and post my Missus reaction! Anyone recommend one? And it will be done!

Who said the Missus would be fully clothed when she activates the Video Capture device from the bang? ...That could look very messy on the cream carpets! Lol
I would hope that you are fully insured and that your affairs are in order before you subject the little lady to this 'prank'. I think I would be missing some essential body parts should I try this. So I will leave it to the more brave Spoiler (foolhardy) to try this.

Umm, don't you have one in your bathroom? They're required by law as I understand it ( no normal lightswitches and no normal plug sockets )....
Not if the Light switch is located outside the door. Our old place had this, which was fun for switching off the light whilst the other was showering etc. (No windows in that bathroom either...)
This. And yes the late night shower where she accidentally flips the wrong switch can be fun (it's next to the landing light & extractor switches).
