I got dragged to Sainsburys shopping with the other half and in an aisle all alone, hidden from all the other aisles, I discovered a lost treasure, a gem among gems. POTENTIALLY THE GREATEST THING EVER, its legen...wait for it.....dary.

Start a project log of how you open it, what you spread it on and how you eat it.

    Oh....spread it on bacon!

    Two things:
    1. How have I not heard of this before now? I always felt there was something missing from my life.
    2. Tell me EXACTLY where in Sainsbury's you found it. I can feel a shopping trip coming on ;)

I have been to Sainsbury's before. I have never found bacon jam. I'll be back there at lunch tomorrow on the hunt for that little beaut.

Who needs jam? A few miles from my home, in Wellington, Somerset, there is a multi-award winning independent butcher who's bacon is superb. With my partner's bread, she is a retired chef, it makes the makes the best bacon sandwiches. :D:D:D
