Hey guys I recently bought the Samsung 840 pro, and was hopping to use the bundled software to clone my drive, sadly Samsung in their wisdom have decided to ship me a blank CD, so i thought hey no problem, I'll just download Norton-G from their site.. no keycode .. oh wheres the keycode somewhere in my pack ? ... no on the CD.. the blank CD

so has anyone got any good alternative solutions, I'd prefer not to use Norton anything, if it can be helped :)

my second option is of course to just re-install, but i had that planned along side a larger upgrade early 2013

You can download a trial version of Acronis True Image from their website.

Preferably you use the Boot Media Creator to create a bootable USB drive with True Image on it.

Also, when cloning make sure you do NOT copy the disk sector by sector.

Clonezilla is totally free and works well off a boot CD (just to throw another option into the mix :) )
