It set a workstation to the CAD drawing, games and for benching So i draw a 3d model of the Chair. Then began the search for sponsors My thanks goes to: Aquatuning Cooler Master Eizo Sandler Eizo sent me 3 monitors Cooler Master cases, power supplies, fan and Input Devices and Aquatuning water cooling, electric, logic controllers and fans. And Sandtler the seat. Then the rebuilding began. First, the monitor mount was my turn. Next i build the frame. 1. the base Then the backframe Then the roll bar The reserve tank I built from a stainless steel tube. Next, a test build of the water cooling The armrests were of course also motorized. Then the trim was on the series The hardware then took his place Now comes the current state of the project. This is insane! I'm wondering how you will get this thing into your house, it's massive and looks extremely heavy too. Nice work, loving all the moving parts too.
I always love a good racing cockpit type project. Looks great. Kinda sad to see the holes covered as the structure looked very cool. But you are putting the hardware in it which makes up for that. Do keep us updated.
Very impressive and certainly a creative approach. As pointed out by morgansk, moving it about might be a bit inconvenient but I bet you have a plan for that. Do you have any long-term concerns over the weight of the monitors?
This is an amazing project, but do you not think the adjustment motors are a little slow? If you've got to sit there and wait in excess of a minute before you can do anything else, I'd be a bit frustrated at its slowness. Especially if you need to move the screens up to get out of the chair and you needed to quickly get out and back in to grab something.

@morgans: The chair can be disassembled into 6 parts. Seat adjustment, base, rear, roll bar and monitor mount. He will weigh about 200-300KG. @trintragular: The monitor mount with monitors weigh 25 KG. Should not be a problem @DeMoB: yes the engines are not the fastest but the have power. But I will later spindles with a different slope then take going the faster. For the lift motor I have unfortunately not found a better solution. Update. First, I have cut the right armrest adjustment for the point where the table rests Next, I drilled threaded into the holders of armrest adjustment. In addition I have welded all welds, ground and made splashes away. This Flex are used with serrated washer and milling cutter with tungsten cutter. And that is it came out. BenChair Update 18.05.14 Update So at the weekend I work on the lift engine. With Felx shaft coupling it don't work, with the elastic it works much better.
