$200HKD, not US from Lik Sang. I just bought a Polar White one from there for £109+£11 shipping (and whatever VAT they throw on).

It takes the piss that the EU gets the short end of the stick, again.

Nintendo never seems to care about the EU market, we seem to be a sort of additional market area that they might make money out of if it wasn't for all those pesky languages that slow up development.

Couldn't be bothered with the wait, so I imported mine from HK (seeing as europe would be last to get it - I mean, they have even announced a EUR release date yet!)
T'was £180 for the Lite, x2 games, screen protectors, USB charger + p&p - not bad imo.
Very nice little machine, just don't buy the white one (unless you're planning on wearing gloves whilst using it).

They are essentially the same thing, but the DS Lite is slightly smaller and has MUCH better screens. The DS Lite is everything the original DS should have been. In comparison, the original is really rather obese, with seriously crappy displays.

Well first off, you can't get Nintendo games on PC's...

    As for the difference:

It's physically smaller, better designed, better screen (with adjustable brightness)...just generally better.

i dont really like nitendo games

    too universal

    aimed more at young people

    it just doesnt interest me

other games in nintendo's range that would interest me, are on other platforms anyway

hence why ive never bought a nintendo console (though i have played my freinds ones)

So, the games are too universal as well as being aimed more at young people? You don't like Nintendo games nor do they interest you, yet somehow there are Nintendo games you do like but they are on other consoles anyway? o_O

I wouldn't mind a DS Lite considering im pretty much bored of my PSP (didn't take long :(), but will wait until the EU release. They do look rather nice though!

the ones i like arent made by nintendo, their just on nintendos console

and those ones are generally on, PS2, xbox and PC aswell

Nintendo games (mario and others actually made by ninty) i find 'Kiddy' and not too much fun

that said, zelda can be orite, a challenging puzzle can be quite fun, and its better then tomb raider
