It would be nice to see what it all means in reality - Some fps gaming benchmarks against the normal testing games used to see the comparison.

    Good read, nice work guys.

I have one issue, these systems just look messy and unfinished in regards to cable management ect.

Surely for £10,000 you would they made it absolutely perfect.

    8Pack. That's a 33% overclock on a base 6 pack, and 400% more than Tupac.

To get your cabling beyond this though you lose the ability to change the setup, and seeing as they're saying that they will upgrade the parts etc you'd have to undo everything each time you did that. I can see why they've used standard cables.

I have to say though that while the name works for him personally I would feel stupid having a system named that. Considering the nature of the systems and the expense, I would have thought that they could have done a hell of a lot more to make them stand out in looks too.

Enjoyed the interview, it's good to get an idea about the people behind the products... cheers. Having said that I don't think I'd be happy buying another CPU ... knowing it's probably been tested and rejected for the minions :\

This is a great article because when i first saw these systems, it thought it was just some that he's had some design and spec input on, then given the ocuk monkies guides on how to overclock them better. But the level of detail he goes into to ensure you get a great system with top spec parts is really something.

Wouldn;t be for me though. take all the fun out of building it yourself. even if it did take you 2 years...... :worried:

The tested CPUs only go into other systems, they're not reboxed and sold as parts.

With my weakly, nerdy frame, I get the feeling that 8pack would be able to easily bench press me if he so desired ;)

On the topic of the PC's - very interesting article. Agree with the other commenters - I could never afford one but it's interesting to read about the amount of work that goes into each one.

I bought a Haswell CPU from Ocuk and it was in an open and unsealed box, returned it immediately and received a sealed box.

And it cost me to return it. :miffed:

    just saying.

If you're under 70kg even I could bench press you ;)

    How good is your planking?
