Bought a season pass (£1.74) for Metro: Last Light and obtained the DLC. Spiders Lair and the lag, when it gets busy is horrendous.

Now I have not played the main game for a while but I certainly did not get any lag issues with. Googled the issue and thought I had solved it with installing the latest PhysX but a short time later framesrates dropped again.

Any one any suggestions? Spec in signature.

    Care to elaborate?

Edit and I have just noticed that my signature is wrong in relation to my CPU it should read stock speed 3.3GHz not 4.3.

It's a bit of a snide joke 'cos you've put MHz not GHz (and therefore an unhelpful suggestion)!

Have you completely wiped out all graphics drivers and reinstalled them, Glenn?

I thought as much when I also noted the MHz. lol.

It is a relatively fresh install of Windows and hence the GPU drivers Sam. But for some odd reason when I removed the Asus 670 from the SLI set up about a week ago I had to install the latest drivers for the remaining Evga. No Idea why that should have necessary but there you go.

I might be minded to uninstall all the nVidia package and then do a reinstall and select the 'force clean install' option (it is called that, isn't it? I can't remember OTOH).

You might find that things have got a bit upset since you SLi'd and then non-SLi'd - if that doesn't work, give DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) a crack!

You sure PhysX isn't on? That'll absolutely murder your framerate.

I am sure I have had it on and off with little difference but will check again as I have just completed a clean install of the Nvidia drivers.
