it looks like the aqua computer one that never got realised - components were too expensive and i dont think it worked very well.

Looks like a nice system, read the info on it from Asetek's site a week or so ago, the innards seem well planned from what I can tell.

The software is the same that comes with the new line of Waterchill 12v pumps.

If I wouldn't have already gotten most parts for my WC system, that might have been something I would have considered....

    @ Ramble
Perhaps it's not "as fun" to set up when looking at it from an enthusiast point of view, but it surely is more tempting for those who aren't that familiar with watercooling but would like to try and would like to try with a highly efficient system...that's what I think it's good for anyway.

The (recommended) prices are listed on the site as follows:

Xternal Cooling Base Unit - Aluminum Standard or Black 290€ (200£)
Xternal CPU/VGA/Chipset Cooling System - Aluminum Standard or Black 317€ (217£)

Did the € to £ conversion myself so it isn't 100% accurate but should give some idea.

The price for the base unit is quite on the level since from what I know - because I have almost the whole set without the enclosure - the parts added up would be way over 290 euros

AFAIK, it's not very well written, and a lot of people have had trouble with it :worried:

Other than that, it sounds like a good product, but why does it need software? I suppose it'll fill a gap in the market, but I think a lot of people are still willing to use a jigsaw and some jumpers, things are just too easy now :sigh:

only +£17 for 3 waterblocks (and pipes ?)

That seems pretty cheap ... how good are the water blocks

Not a bad price point though

Interesting, for a watercooling noob that setup appeals to me even though I KNOW that custom setups are probably cheaper and better I just don't want to go through the hassle of being tech support for myself when all my components are fried because I didn't know what to do. :S
