Check this monster out! Clicky Make sure to set the video Quality to Original. Even on my 1080p monitor, it looks like 4X supersampling 1080p Quality. I think I just....
I'm looking forward to 4K, but the cost is going to be insane for years to come, combined with the need for a Blu-Ray replacement (or perhaps we'll see multiple layered BD discs or similar). Arguably we might see it on PCs first (at least for gaming) as digital download circumvents limitations of disc size.
Just when graphics power was reaching the point where you can get away with a single card for a 2560x1600 monitor, the cycle starts all over again.
They will need to do something. Probably be called ECO-Ray as the next big thing, especially how ECO is such a big marketing gimmick... Either that, or they will put a 4K film on 4+ Blu-Ray disc...lol That's right, it's what keeps us keen in spending our hard earned cash. That's Quad SLI GTX 980's Maxwell. Will be looking at 8GB GFX cards for that res. What? Sitting 3 meters away with that res and screen size would be immense! Yep, but not as immense as the 84" variety towering around your peripheral vision.
Films are starting to be filmed in 5k, so 4k shouldn't be too far away i feel. That 84" LG is around £20,000 though, so if you have that amount of money burning away in your pocket, and a room the size of a small cinema, should be fine Sam
Nah, anyone who wants a partition in their room, would go for the 84" TV. Look love, I spent £20K on giving you a dressing room. The TV is part of the wall...
Dear Simon, As I live in the same county as yourself, I would like to call dibs on this, I mean lets me honest we all know you'll buy it, then after OC'ing the nuts off it and upgrading all the parts you can find , buy the Samsung model 6 months later. At which point I will take this LG off your hands, assuming you can deliver it to me. I can't fit it in a 106. I'd cover your petrol money for delivery, but otherwise I'd take it off your hands for nothing.... Think of it as recycling Cheers
I'm not seeing much difference between the 1080p and 4k (obviously I don't have the equipment to view it at 4k) I'm thinking whatever happens to make the 4k version appear on my 1080p monitor is the same thing that happens when I select the 1080p version of the video. Either way, the quality of the footage is still excellent.
I'm glad you liked it, I've used many a lines like that on my missus...Lol. Yes of cause you can have it when I'm done with it. But...by that time, it will be 8K Ultra Ultra Ultra Ultra HD ECO Green 168" TV that will replace it. lol ?wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>
yeh pretty much. i watched in on my 42" tv and couldn't really tell there was much of a difference. those with 2560x1440/1600 monitors will though.
