I keep getting wu from project 13000 and 13001. The timeout date is earlier than the eta, and factoring in how often the graphics drivers on my AMD rig crash they are unlikely to complete before the expiration date. Am I wrong to delete them and try for work I can complete? I know in general it is wrong, but would you consider this a valid case for deleting them?
I've been reading your threads with regard to your AMD GPU issues - always a frustration when things crash constantly (been there myself)! Unfortunately, it's been years since I Folded on Radeon GPU's, so I'm afraid I can't offer any useful advice. I'll be upgrading to a GTX 970 as soon as I can afford it. Won't have the same grief then I prefer NVidia anyway, just haven't bought any new hardware since building a Llano based system. On the other system I'm rebuilding I will have a GTX 460 alongside a 2600K. Should have 2 x 970 before summer The Llano is my everyday working system, so a low priority. The 2600K will get a 970 first, then the 460 can be swapped over until I get another 970. Might sound like a lot of work, but as I am unable to work I have the time to fiddle
Got a 13001 at the moment that seems to be 8 times faster than all the others I had! Still not the 40K ppd I see on other wu, but it will finish in time
