Anyone come across any decent apps? I have just found ISSLive video stream from the international space station which is quite stunning. Audio is crap Spoiler joke . https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.polilabs.issonlive&hl=en And the "Chromecast Best Apps" is pretty good for keeping you up to date on new apps.
The only one I use currently is the Plex app on my iPhone, which allows me to stream content from my PC to the livingroom TV with a nice front end as opposed to just a plain folder structure using DLNA.
I need to find where I dropped my chromecast when i had to shift the tv around... that and get a new HDMI switch as run out of ports with all the stuff plugged in (PC, Raspberry Pi running Kodi, X360, X1, PS3). I keep thinking about getting one of the amazon equivelant sticks as it can sideload android apparently. Biggest bit thats to hate about the chromecast is the hardcoded dns servers, making it much harder to get around geolocation blocking (ie netflix from the US rather than UK etc).
I found one that put an aquarium in your TV complete with water sounds with the obvious side effect of making you feel you need to pee.
