    specs " *=parts i have all ready"
    -intel g3258*
    -nes case*
    -pico psu 160xt*
    -asrock H97m-itx/ac*

You need some in progress pictures or this will be moved to modding.

But... as a retro nerd, i'm interested in NES PCs. I'd love to see how you fit all of that into the NES without butchering the console.

I agree ,I'm sure I will do this one justice for all them hacked nes pcs that look like they would fall apart if you even sneezed on them.

I will upload more pics when power is restored to my house, damn you snow!

    Happy Thanksgiving .

Speaking as someone who knows first hand how brittle that NES/SNES era plastic gets, good luck!

It's already impressive how claen you've got that bottom section in the last image.

second update for today ,will try and do two or three updates tomorrow have some surprises coming next week would like to have this log up to date. Well after all the filler was done my motherboard came in and I could start with the fitment of the fans and mother board so here we go!

    new motherboard-ASRock H97M-ITX/ac
    [IMG]
made some quick fan mounts, only will be able to use the bottom one, with both on it held the top of the case up just a hair.I still might mod the top one to make it fit in the case becuase i did like the look of the two of them.
motherboard and fans secured and fit in ! Ever thing feels so solid in the case no worry's about moving this guy around.

ok have a little more time today so one more quick update.

my pico psu came in the mail this day so I could not wait to test out my gear so I got it all setup ghetto style and had a successful first bios post .The next day I installed windows and did some OC'n of coarse. Got it up to 4.0ghz on the stock cooler did not try to go further as I feel that might be around my sweet spot for wattage and heat .then I proceeded to undervolt until unstable. final result was 4.0ghz at 1.15 vcore,my thermals were at 69-70c under load with the lid on with no intake vents yet"spoiler lol"

    first post ,IT LIVES!

Looks good so far. I hope you'll convert the original NES ports to use with real controllers. I've seen many mods where people just replace the ports with USB and they quite frankly look awful.

all right after my successful windows install and figured I did not have to RMA anything took every thing apart again. then I begin to make a I/O panel only a hdmi, optical out, and 2 usb inputs will be cut into it. made a beauty panel for hiding wires and motherboard outputs and also made a fan panel to keep the air the fans move separate from the case.
