It's not a bad idea, I was considering the same thing the other day. But here's what Dissuaded me: Selling the original HD4850 for about $80(you can usually nab more) and then putting it towards a HD5850, which is admittedly more expensive(by $100 more) but it will perform much better than 2x HD4850s, have a smaller Idle wattage, have some nice AF/AA filters although the trade off is the lack of coolness in your computer. And you can just Crossfire your current HD4850 with another one. Finally, It might be adviseable to grab a 2x 1GB Versions of the HD4850, I heard it helps with texture heavy games and GTA IV. Or you can go the Crossfire route, but beware, after digging a bit, the HD4850 either works like a charm(sometimes getting +70% performance) or utterly fails. And
