    BASE.

we begin with measures that will be of 75x45 cm.
with these measures can prepare calmly what I have in mind without having to deal with space.
the skeleton of the base will be assembled with the strips of aluminum, and subsequently coated with the plex.
on it there will be a large number of cacti that surround the entire base, with the plex will be load-bearing part of some effects of light that I hope very suggestive.
but not only, the base will also host two radiators for cooling that will be arranged laterally.
I am convinced that the arrangement of the tubes of liquid, and sleeving of the cables will make you smile.
I can only say that the shape of the houses will be a bit special, but I will try to integrate the hardware with the topic of modding.

    vamos...

already from the base you can imagine the massive size of this mod.

The strips are then secured to the wood for give stability.

unfortunately guys when building from scratch is so , there is little to see at this stage of modding.

to give robustness to the entire base will us the plywood of 6mm.

I have in mind a series of special effects for this mod.
the structure must be especially designed in order to avoid having to repeat twice the assembly operation.

The last picture is just to let you know how it will be the base.
where there are the pink circles, there will be the succulent plants.
while the two radiators are placed laterally...
    am crazy:D

is the turn of the aluminum profiles.

same treatment with steel wool for the outer part of the base.

the separation between aluminum and wood will not be noticed at all.

prepare the basis for the final coating with tape to protect the interior of the base from the residues of dust.

    shabby chic effect.

decorative art whose origins date back to Louis XV

Is primarily used to give an effect of aging and wear to the wood.

means the finishing technique that reveals the grain of the wood or the color of paint.
There are variations to this style of finishing, especially on the shades of color, but in any case we see emerge, with the desired effect of wear, the color below.
The style called Country Chic, involves the use of light colors on the surface, and darker colors that appear after the treatment of wear.
Shabby Chic is the word to signify the contrast between the elegance and wear.
With this technique 'can be reused in new and old furniture inexpensively. It 'a romantic style that has the flavor of the simplicity of the objects experienced.

also the color of the future sleeving must be matched with the base...

a first coat of black tempera very diluted with water to.

this technique can be realized in many ways, everything depends on what you want.

with a layer of resin in the red symbol, I conclude this first part of the work.
the base is nearly completed, you just cover it with plex and start building the top.
I leave you with a small preview of what you see in the next episodes ...

    hello all.
for the interior of the base I thought to cover all of with the acustic moquette.

the moquette makes things much cleaner and ordered.

the four symbols will be illuminated from behind with LED.

the two radiators from 120 will be disposed at the two ends of the base.
    To be continued...

plex has arrived, now we can start with the top.
I can finally give free rein to my imagination.
the color of modding is fully revealed, I want to match the effect schic shabby purple with the plex of the same color.
the lights, the sleeving, and the different effects that I'm going to use, should never lose sight of the sobriety of the colors I chose for the structure.
the upper structure for the most part will be in a plex, and surrounded with the wood paneling, always with the same effect.

    vamos...:dremel:
