Pretty cool man! That's a small cube tooo. It looks like it's just going to fit together really easily given all the measurements are correct. Will you be laser cutting the wood panels? What wood will you be using? Also, what storage will you be using? A good excuse to use a little M.2 drive?

I have a design sitting on my computer now of a similar mod with a GTX 670 Mini. Mine is a combination of steel frame with wood shell. Dimension creep got up to 210mm cubed. Why did you choose 222m? Cool how you interlocked the sides with those dovetail joints. "RC" reminds me of Rubik's Cube, but yours looks to be much less frustrating. How do you plan to get the logo on the front, burn or painted on? Mal
Could you post a picture or do you have a link to your build/log...? The logo is burned in/engraved with laser like the edges The edge length was more or less random (and a nice number). I just wanted everything to fit in. At first I wanted it to be 200mm even but that didn't work out...
No log, haven't settled on one of the many designs swimming in my head. Here is my idea: I'm trying to relocate the PSU. A Flex PSU woud sit in front of the motherboard but that would require a little more dimension creep. Maybe 215mm cubed, by then though it kinda defeats the purpose. Mal
Every little bit adds up. 7" cubed is 5.6L. I'm at 8.25" cubed which is 9L. You're almost 9" cubed which is 12L. Its not easy staying as small as possible. Oh yeah, I missed your ODD! I don't have one because I do alot of streaming. I guess I could add one if I shifted the 200mm fan towards the back a little. But I probably won't. The tower is not a planned part, just there for reference on what could fit. There is about 3.5" between the cpu and PSU. The idea is the 200mm fan brings cool air in and the PSU and GPU force it out. As such I may flip the PSU so more fresh air gets forced down to the motherboard before the PSU grabs it. The wood shell will hide all screws and the small size allows the power button and usb ports to be on the back. Mal
Yesterday I made this power button mounting thing and cut some holes into the back panel, also my USB 3.0 ports arrived: Today I put everything together and took some pictures for you.
