I just noticed that the way we are going before the month's end we're going to overtake Overclockers Australia, getting us to number 7. Furthermore, we only need and increase of only 71000 PPD to have Maximum PC Magazine in sight!

How can we achieve that? I feel CPU change is coming my way... :naughty:

Are you volunteering yourself Ph4zed?

Ive been watching the teams ppd recently and it does seem to have a bit of flux to it, but on the rise in general I think. Doing better than me, as mines dropped a fair bit :waah:

Its not the cost of the board that puts me off, its the costs of the chips to go in it tbh.

Nicely done! Now we have Maximum PC Magazine in sight, just to narrow the gap now :) I'm sure we don't want to wait 17 years to take them, right? :thumb:

Since I'm at college and the electricity is "free" I'm folding at least 2 cores 24/7 on my Q6600

I'd run more but I still have to game

If somebody teaches me how to fold, I've got a 4Ghz Phenom II Quad + 460 I could add to that PPD Requirement. will be in at about 5:45 tonight, will happily leave the PC on 24/7 (apart from when I'm gaming)

Matt, me and the other folding regulars will happily talk you through the whole process. You've got some great hardware and every contribution is important :)

Going for an upgrade on monday aswell, changing the cpu/mobo/ram to an i7 setup, so hopefully an increase in CPU score as well :)

I'm with Ph4ZeD on the SR-2. The mboard looks great in terms of price/performance, but the cost of those Xeons is OUCH! Not to mention 2 lots of quality memory, and it won't fit into any old low price case, and a decent PSU is going to cost as well, especially if you need the watts to supply a GTX480 or two.

Now where's my copy of 'How to Guarantee a Win on the Lottery' ? :)

I presume that Ph3Zed will overclock his card :) And he'll safely get 15000 PPD. Right Ph3Zed? Or would you do atrocity of leaving things on stock? :eeek:
