That's quite an understated case as far as gaming PCs go. I wonder if the LEDs can be switched off or whether Asus plans to sell the case on its own.

Meh where's the fun in that? The best part about a proper computer is the whole process of selecting parts and assembling it yourself. It becomes a very personalised thing.

My concern is the very small amount of Intake Vents I can see. If it's really an Asus "ROG" setup; it'll be running so as to be overclocked for miles, in which case the lack of airflow will be an interesting mix.

Good, it's about time someone did something to reduce the radar footprint of today's computers!
I guess I'm not the target audience though.

Unless it's RoG right down to the SATA cables... I'm not impressed.

FYI they are sold to limited markets in not huge quantities. ROG PCs aren't for modding/building bit-techers but more the Alienware folk :)

Plenty of people come to bit-tech for bit-gamer though.

...and apparently takes its design cues from the stealth bomber aircraft. However, it's currently unclear whether the case will fly.

Wow, that case is ugly as sin. Hmm... Do you suppose this thing will be watercooled?

Let me guess, the pricetag also takes it's inspiration from a stealth bomber? :p

+1 I hope it is the pictures! I've an Asus G73 ROG laptop which looks great so wonder how they messed up the PC case so bad.

Ya that would seem to be the case.
Which is a shame, because for me anyway, the R.O.G stuff was quality overclocker/builder stuff not "I've got an enormous wallet and I want to buy into a gaming name without knowing the first thing about it"
Lets hope it's not a new direction for them.

No, components and PCs are always different but ROG is always gaming and overclocking with functional innovations through it to add value. ROG PCs are just a revenue stream and a market that ASUS are exploiting like any business. The markets not huge so we don't put a great deal into it, unlike gaming notebooks which are advertised more :)
