About time we had some decent AMD ITX offerings, it's all been far too one sided for ages.
Hope they stir up the stagnation of minimal generational gains.

IIRC Asus said they'd only put out ITX Boards for platforms with an IGP [which is why there were no am3+ itx boards], dunno if they've changed their minds on that...

I'd be surprised if you saw any good ones. So far I've heard you'll likely see mostly mainstream/entry at launch because a) the platform is so new b) mobo makers are hesitant to invest in a currently tiny market and are unsure of the potential. They are driven by sales figures not word of mouth. They will focus on the biggest slice of a small market first c) it's usually the 'b' teams making the AMD boards for (b) reasons d) AMD doesn't give as much development/$ support as Intel e) AMD is still churning out silicon revisions which means that platform is changing which means it's reaaaally hard to develop for - especially BIOS'. AFAIK Intel gives a good 6-9 months ahead of launch. It's lower risk to give it time to develop a high-end or niche board.

Asrock told me the no IGP thing. Hopefully they'll do one for Ryzen

Guessing the HDMI port for the IGP slipped your attention... Yes i'll sit corrected on the 'they didn't make any AM3+ ITX models' but my point about 'No IGP = No ITX' still stands.

Was it ASrock that said it? though it was ASUS... surprised given ASrock were the only ones brave/daft enough to shoehorn X99 onto an ITX board...

that board has both DVI-I and hdmi? but yes , that board is AM3 , but the 880G has a 4250 gpu.

biggest mistake AMD made for AM3 was not releasing the 1000 series chipset

Su specifically said something along the lines of "and motherboards for every form factor" or something very close to that, that I CBA watching over an hour's worth of footage again for :D

She pretty much hit the nail on the head for every single last complaint any one has had about AMD CPUs for the past eight years or more.

Performance wise it seems to deliver, so no reason why we won't get proper ITX boards for it. I mean, it's an APU after all and I have never seen an AMD APU not get a ITX board.

It's a spam bot I think. The exact same post appears on quora.com under a different user.
