I have always had my case on the right side of my screen and keyboard. Now wondering whether i should put it on the left because of my cables for my headphones and gamepad.

Really depends on the desk I'm using - having used a variety of desks around the house recently, it has been both left and right. Currently on the right - all my cables are long enough that case location doesn't effect that.

Ideally, I would have it in the right, so that the fan on the left hand side of the panel always have clear air flow - but in all honesty I haven't noticed much diff in temps when it doesn't.

Generally it depends which side the window / side fan is on - don't want to block the view / airflow.

Tempest EVO - On the right to avoid blocking window / side fan.

Motherboard Box - Above to the right cos that is where the closest shelf was and I didn't want to spill anything on it.

RV03 - An exception to the rule: wouldn't fit under the shelf to the right, so had to go on the left. Fortunately, due to the rotated mobo, the wires come out of the top of the case and there is a gap to route them out the front.

Mines down on the floor and to the left, decent amount of cedar in the way to insulate from any sound but my case is nigh on silent anyway.

I think I've always had mine on the left, and thinking about it, putting it on the right just feels wrong.

I'm right handed, so it goes on the left side so it can't ever be in my way. I don't like to put computers on the floor as they always seem to get so much more dust inside that way, and don't want to kick it either.

When I did have a case and gaming rig, it was to the right. There was a window on my case so I wanted to be able to look at the rig that I had built when I was using it. Sad, I know.

On the desk to the right of me both in the office and on my gaming setup, as has been the case since the very beginning! It wouldn't matter much in the office, but I don't think I could play properly on my gaming rig without it towering over me on the RHS of my desk!

It's an FT02, and the desk is in a left corner, so the case sits on the outer edge of the desk and the window faces out into the room, meaning I don't see the motherboard side internals from where I sit. The opposite was true of my first custom case (Antec P160, ah the memories) which is what got me into the habit of putting it on top and to the right, so I could see the internals through the window as I sat at the desk.

Same as xTatic. I like looking at the internals, so usually on the right. I've had it on the left, but I definitely prefer it on the right. I've put it on the floor now, just to clear up some desk space though.
