So, this is my newest mod, it's named celsius because it's based n a fujitsu siemens celsius workstation case :)
I just didn't want to put my new hardware in my old case so i thought about buying a new one, i first looked at some online shops but i didn't found any interesting case there ;)
So i looked at ebay and *bam* there it was i really did fall in love with this case when i first saw it, so i bought it ;)

First some shots of the original case:

first i thought about a two tone colour in black mat and the original green, but then i decided that the case just painted black mat would look much better ;)

First i did was cutting a window, since i didn't want just a big square i decided to make soemthing totally different which would fit the front of the case.
So first i drew some squares on the sidepanel ;)

On every interection i made some holes...

Then i took a 60mm holesaw and cutted some bigger holes :D
    [IMG]

And this was the result ;)

Next thing i did was mounting some of the watercooling components...

Here's the reservoir i'm going to use it's the smaller version of my current one ;)

As you can see on this picture i'm going to mount the HTF3 Triple radiator on top, because there's no space for it inside the case ;)

After mounting the watercooling parts i sprayed the sidepanels black, here the right one:

On the left side i glued a green uv active ac ryan acrylpanel behind the holes:

    Some light action with green...

    ...and uv light
    [IMG]
(in reality it glows much more greener ;) )

I love the circle pattern. Very clever, and probably a lot easier than a square window.

I also quite like the case you're starting with. It looks a lot more professional than most new cases.

    Hey SMOVE!

Nice case, as I already said in our forums!

    @ antiHero:

That doesnt matter! Do you know the reservoirs that you have tu put directly to the pump? They can be at the very bottom of the case ;)

That is one hardcore rad! :eeek: Would it not work ok passively?

Looks like it could be an interesting project :thumb:

ps: green and black is probably my favourite colour scheme :) ( i have 2x black+green machines and 1x blue+silver)

    They came with the fans...
But those fan grills are only used in Primergy 560 servers from Siemens, so i would say it's really hard to get them :blah:
I had some great luck when i found the fans with grills on ebay...

    @ MrDT
I hope that it works passively we'll se when i got the system up and running :)

@ All Thanks for the comments :thumb:

Yesterday i put all together (except the front an some watercooling componteents) and did some wirering.
First the coloured base, yes i knwothe paint isn't perfect but that doesn't matter since you can't see it throug the green acryl ;)
I just sprayed the base silver to cover the red metal primer ;)

then i installed an mainboard under-soil lighting (hope that's the correct word :blah: )

All sixteen LEDs installed and wired
    [IMG]

    Works nicely ;)

Then i wired the rest and after hours of wireing it looked like this:

The switches to control the lights and fans, the only thing you can't siwtch off is the mainboard-usl and the temp controlled 92mm papst fan.

Beneth the psu is not much space left.

    Just some other wires...

Back side of the case, the wires don't look really nice, but doesn't matter since you can't see them from the front ;)

The reservoir with the mounting plate for the eheim pump

Then i again used my holesaw...

...and made some nice circles, but what are they good for?

With some double sided tape and rubber they make nice casefeet :)
Perhaps i'll light them up later...

And here ar some pictures with installed test-motherboard.

    Only the mainboard-usl:

    Only green:

    Only UV:

    Green & UV:

    That's it ;)
Now i just have to finish the front and wait for an order from Aqua Computer... then i finally can put my hardware in the ne case :)
