    Hello, my mate has just bought an ivybridge i5 3570k, and has ordered a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 motherboard, will this cpu work out of the box, or will a bios update be needed?

    All problems solved!!!! the very nice people at overclockers have swapped the board for a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Intel Z77!!! so all should be well, many thanks tooverclockers!!!!
