Networks pc cant get on the internet

    Hi all
    ive just put the pc on in the bedroom and it wont let me go on the interned, keeps saying no driver installed yet when i try and put the downloaded driver into the pc it says half way through the instilation "the realtek network controller was not found. if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable" ???
    any ideas guys

    Are you sure you are installing the right driver?

    Are you sure the network adapter is plugged in?

    Yes its the right driver and the cable is plugged in...we shut it down last night, turned it on this morning and it said windows has recovered from a problem (words to that effect) and no internet no matter what i do lol

    Run chkdsk on the hard drive to look for corruption. Turn off all power saving in windows and the bios,remove the network card in device manager, run ccleaner (or a.n.other prog) over your registry. Restart the pc and the windows driver should find and run the realtek card.

    I havent a clue...i just done what unlikey said "removed the network card in device manager, run ccleaner" and re booted all was sorted..???????
