Hi all wounder if you can give me advise i had a letter on Saturday of the hm customs asking for my details as they think i might not have payed the right amount of tax but here is the thing i have not worked for company X for years and why only for the last year, so what would they get by saying i am still working for them. I have spoke to H M and they said its showing active they asked when was last day i remember working for them when i told them she said so you have not worked there since date x and she said they would need to get in contact to find out why they have not informed them (or something along them lines).
Contact the company who you used to work for and ask for a copy of the P45. That will show your last working date.
