    Introduction

    Hello Bit-tech people!
This is my first worklog here, and i hope its not the last!

Before reading, start listen to this while reading :jawdrop: Just to get the right mood.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQjgF8PeWfY&feature=related
You will get some hints of the project, i can't say more then this, otherwise he will come after me....

About a month ago, me and my family realized that we should get a PC to have in our home. I was thinking about it for a while...
    It need to be stealthy.
There it started, and i started to sketch on the project, but what is a project without its project name...

I though about for a long time, and then it came to my mind. It was stated, the project should be named Slenderbox.
Slender means small and slim but is also associated with the mean, mysteric and powerful horror game Slender, and that's concludes it.
It will be small, slim, mean, mysteric and powerful... It will be Slender...

    To be continued.....:jawdrop:

In this project, a well-planned and excecute modification of computer chassis named "BitFenix Prodigy" will be performed.
The modification will be performed in a manner so that the end result is something I've never seen before.
I hope you readers will find my project interesting, both the arrangement, modification, the idea and the final product.

I couldn't make this project without those sponsoring companies i will now introduce!
    A big thank to them!

    Update 21-12-12

I think more people just want some more pictures, so here we go!
Here are some pictures of the case when first opened!
Hmm, aint alot of space, but still i will fit a 360 Radiator in there?

Here we have it without the HDD cases, looks much better in my opinion!

Some concept pictures, the big box is a radiator :)

I made some components out of carton,

    What do you think?
I think this will be a great setup and positions of hardware :)

So I drilled out the rivets, since i must anodize some parts of the case!

I was having some problems with getting out the rivets since it was my first time, but finally it went all fine!

I think it looks great :) what GPU are you planning to run for this setup? And are you planning to paint the interior of the case to black/another color besides the original silver?

Much better than earlier, I was looking at it at work but when they told me to go home I didn't waste any time and got out of there so I didn't have time to comment. Are you going to use the PSU? I would suggest a decent modular silent PSU for cable management, and the silent part for since you are going to be using it for a HTPC. If you are going to use that PSU please use some shrink tube or liquid electrical tape on the ends so there is no chance of shorting anything out. I would hate to see lots of money in components die because of that. Nice case by the way.

    Hi Hankonen, and thanks!
Im planning to find something decent, since it wont be a gaming-rig it will probably be a 470 or 480 :)

:hehe: No, i wont use that PSU, i used it for a mockup since i wanted to see where to put everything, as you can see in the pictures it got cables cutted like everywhere :)
The PSU will probably be a Silverstone fully modualar, BeQuiet Semi or Corsair Fully modular, which one of them do you suggest?

And if it would be that PSU, of course i would have put heatshrink on them!
Im not that new to building PCs :)

Yea i know, I did upload them in that res first, and then i see that here everyone wants another resolution i didn't found all pictures again, but if i find em i will maybe change!

Another update today so stay tuned! (If you survived yesterday  )

I spend some hours on finishing the sketch for my HDD case, and this is how it will look!

Some explanation of where everything will be put together

    Holder for the Aquaero!

Here are the sketches of the GPU backcover that i will make out of aluminium to!

I think about having it backlit like this

I received this GTX 470 from a guy over at another PC-Forum (or actually paid 100€ for it)

If the weather will be good i may be able to pull of some more pictures!
( I don't have studio equipment yet, but hopefully get some for Christmas!

    Have a nice day!

I'm surprised your running such a hot and power hungry graphics card like the 470 in such a compact build. You may have been better off with a much cooler running like a 560Ti

Yes indeed, unfortunately the budget said no and this was the best i could get for my budget of 100€ for the Graficcard. I will see how i will do. Since it will be watercooled i dont think it will be a huge problem :)

Maybe something from AMD (for example a 5770) might have been a better choice?
They are pretty cheap as well.

Or you get a CPU with integrated graphics.

We will see the temps later on in the project ;)

You want to see a stunning motherboard? Well, here it comes!
    The motherboard is a Z77 ASRock Extreme4-m, a M-ATX motherboard.
I think it have a great design that will fit in this build.

    Hopefully you think the same!

I dunno what kinda 560 ti you've seen but mine is pretty damn cool. It never goes over 40C even with it's mild O/C.

The pumpres combo that will drive this watercooling system!

    The GPU EK block!

This fan really likes to be on the pictures :worried:

    Fan-family, parents with childrens :)
A big thank you to Fractal Design for sponsoring me with those small fans! Less is more in this case!

The CPU-block, stunning quality! Will change leds from blue to white tho!

What do you think, should i let the brand-logo be there? :)

Tomorrow i will try to mount the fans and check how much space i got for it, probably about some millimeters

Have a nice Christmas day, see you!

The board looks good I'm sure it will more than meet your needs (I'm not crazy about he colors but it doesn't look like it will show) the performance is the important part. Nice gear and your sponsors were very generous. I'm looking forward to seeing this come together. I think the Logo on the cpu block will be fine. Keep the updates coming and Merry Christmas!
