Hello all, I've just upgraded my computer after many many years Now I've got a ASUS N4L-VM DH motherboard and years ago I bought one of Meblins IrDA recievers http://www.meblinsmods.com/IrDAbuild.htm and I'd like to put it on my new motherboard so I can use it. Now basically I don't know what header to put it on? Do I just need to put it onto the serial port header and then supply a 5v+ from somewhere else as the serial header has no 5v supply on it? Is this all thats needed? If someone can help I'd be much appreciated. Cheers John
Well it's been a while since I have visited these parts and to answer your question it doesn't look like you have an irda header on your motherboard so cannot use the device Meblin
