Motherboards Asus mobo what has the most sata ports?

i'm looking for a new Asus motherboard socket AM3 ideally with 4+ 3pin fan connections and more than 4 sata ports and 4 ram dimms (not two) for roughly £40-£100

if asus don't have any good ones i might go the gigabyte route

does anyone have any good boards that qualify??

All the new boards will usually have 6 sata connections i would recommend a Msi c-45 or G-45 retailing at about 40 pound on the high end you can get an Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB 3 at 115 pounds

the Asus M4A89GTD that's got th890GX chipset hasn't it so it'll take a 6 core cpu won't it??

can't think of any.The C45 and G45 are both excellent boards though, they wer recommended by custom pc and bit tech.i have one in my little brothers pc and overclocks to 3.7 ghz

 

i lie the look of the C45 board black and blue combo it'll go well with my black case and some blue leds try and get a blue fan controller that'll look cool (no pun intended lol)

Thats the reason i went for the G45 instead of the C45 even though it doesn't have a clear side ,no problem hope all go's well

 

sorry is the C45 the one that has a vrm heatsink with DR.MOS on it or is that a diff one??

 

The C45 is the slightly cheaper one with red pcb, where as the G45 has crossfire and is blue and black, the one with heatsinks and dr.mos is the much more expensive ASUS board

 

so is the MSI mobo available on the am2 /+ am3 platform??

 

Just a poke Dr. Mos is a MSI thing I believe, not Asus...

 

oh i thought it was for all boards,do you know exactally what it does?

 

It's just there take on power management, I think its EPU on Asus boards. Just saves power mostly, very little difference, double so if your overclocking.

go for the am3 socket,am3 socket supports ddr3 ram and is more future proof, you can post a link so i check if you want
