OK, I'm looking (see the topic title) for a new PC for £650 (again, see topic title) to £680 max!
I've absolutely no idea what components to use...

-I want to build it myself :)
-I use my system for almost everything: Gaming, Photoshop, video editing, Cubase, etc.
-I have absolutely no components lying around (that I don't use for something else...)
-I'd love to overclock (if my budget can get me a system that allows it)
-No monitor, keyboard, mouse or any other peripheral needed!
    -No OS needed!

CPU:I think I'll need a quad-core, Intel or AMD: I guess an i7 will be too expensive for my budget :sigh:...
Graphics card: I'll play most games at 1680 x 1050 (or maybe even 1920x1080)
    Motherboard/Harddisk/RAM/PSU/CPU cooler/Optical drive/Case/etc.: I have absolutely no idea...

PS: Yes, I've read the Buyers Guide, but I don't know if it is right for me:confused:...

PPS:pardon me for my English, it's not my native language...

Then 12 hours we shall wait.

And that is quite a budget, although you'll probably end up impaling yourself when you realize how much the extras cost.

If you want core i7 i would recomend the following f5rom www.scan.co.uk:

Asus TA-861 Black midi case - £18.35(cheap nothing flashy)
    Be Quiet Dark Power 650W - £103.95
    Samsung Optical DRive - £15.51
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R - £138.20 (One of the fastest and most overclockable i7 mobo)
    Intel i7 920 D0 - £206.05
    Titan Fenrir TTC-NK85TZ - £33.91
    Corsair XMS3 3GB - £48.42
Asus HD 4770 512MB - £73.13 (A good sub £100 GPU able to play Crysis and low resolutions)
    Hitachi HD 320GB - £32.19

    Total £682.51

This setup has a lot of overclocking potential, but as the budget is tight and the need for a case etc, cuts had to be made.

I would reccomend the following again from www.scan.co.uk:

Asus TA-861 Black midi case - £18.35(cheap nothing flashy)
    Be Quiet Dark Power 650W - £103.95
    Samsung Optical Drive - £15.51
    Biostar Tpower I45 - £101.76
    Itel core 2 Duo E8400 - £123.37
    Arctic cooling Freezer 7 pro - £14.82
    Corsair TwinX XMS2 4GB - £43.53
    Palit 275 GTX 896MB - £160.97
    Hitachi HD 320GB - £32.19

    Total - £627.16

The setup again has lots of overclocking head room and as it is under budget i would reccomend you choose faster Ram and a faster Gpu, but thats up to you.

    Hope this helps.
