There has been one or two comments regarding the iPad on these forums, but I would like to know how many members will buy one.

    I for one will be.

I personally still stick with my opinion that the iPod is the only product apple offer that is value for money. Also which actually deserves the hype an apple product usually gets too.

    So thats a big no.

No, i have no use/need for it. I have a laptop but it has never left the house. If i'm going somewhere then i'll have something to do there so even if i take a gadget with me i won't use it.

Already got an Apple laptop and an iPhone, so I've got both OSX and mobile. Nothing it can do I cannot already; don't need it.

    No.
They are missing too many crucial features for a tablet and even if they fix them still no as I don't have a need for one.

Releasing a super-sized iPhone seems pretty silly. It isn't a computer, it isn't a phone, it isn't pocket friendly, it can't do the internet properly (Flash is the main thing that phones fall down on. This still doesn't have it so isn't much better) it has a backlit LCD display which, IPS or not, isn't e-ink so you can't read it like a book.

    I already have an iPhone:D
    ...oh wait sry iPad:confused:
    ...easy mistake to make

But I don't blame Apple, if I had the change to grab a monopoly on all the software in a portable marketplace, I can't say that I would say "No" :naughty:

No, doesn't do enough for me to justify it's size. An iPhone does mostly the same thing and goes in your pocket.

Yeah, for now... You can't have a thread mentioning Apple on a non-Apple specific forum without it descending into flamebait. It's one of the rules of the internets.

It's like mixing matter and antimatter.
