    Hi Guys,

I take part in this year's contest at Hardwareluxx.

    The sponsored Hardware:

    AMD FX 8370
    ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
    GTX970-DCMOC-4GD5
    G.Skill Ares 1600 CL9 8 GB
    NZXT Kraken X31
    BitFenix Pandora
    BitFenix Fury 550W
2x BitFenix Alchemy LED Kabel, weiß
Team Group SSD Ultra L5 Series 2,5 Zoll SSD, SATA 6G - 120 GB

    What is planned:
    Remove all unnecessary openings
Ready motherboard Cover made of aluminum
New graphics card cover made of aluminum
Laying power connectors from the motherboard to the rear
Wakü converted to Terms and 1/4 "
    Ready agb aluminum
Cut out the side pieces and ornaments deposit with Plexi
    Sides Motorise
    Obstruct fan control

And of course a few other things. However, too much I will not tell.
The material is aluminum and plexi used

Add to that that I will do livemodding.
This means every time I mod there I posted it und Worklog and you can see me then here modding.

    So today was unpacking Featured

First, the slot in DVD drive was my turn.
This is a Hitachi and gabs for 30 eus
    [IMG]

    Then the large Caseking packet

Equal times what you can do to screw so.
The side panels are made quite thick aluminum which is brushed only.
Then, since the welding should be no problem.

Then even the first minor issue. One of the snapper for the upper filter is defective.
The filter is now no longer close properly.
But a solution is determined find.

    Then, the power supply
I will obstruct upright to get space for the drawer rails
It will also cover part of the Motherboard
    [IMG]

The water cooling will I break down and rebuild.
For radiator I will replace it with a 240, I will cool the GPU with water

And last but not least, the SSD

Then we went to the break down.
First, the side panels masking tape to prevent scratches

At the top, I then removed the defective snapper same time.

Die Front habe ich auch zerlegt und das Display ausgebaut.

In the next step, the watercooling was due.
As I once cut the hoses to the radiator and see there.
Nen Radi aluminum with copper heat sink.
Now this I did not expect at a maintenance-free system. Since it does not even look as if what oxidized.
But I obviously better for me because I can cut at Radi connections and can weld an adapter from 1/4 ".

The computer is the new workhorse for my girlfriend.
So is it a little bit feminine

Here's the design for the side panels.
The hibiscus flowers will I Saw and deposit with colored and transparent Plexiglas.

Next, I cut out a flower pattern aluminum.
From Mark right about 1H finished work.

Because my back has to be Holey her ne new.
So nen 1.5mm aluminum sheet caught and off you go.

First I had to remove the old.
Since I've been hit on the biggest hurdle of a modder STUDDED and lots of it.

So cordless screwdriver out and get away with it.

The sheet I cut with a circular saw and folded

Then I made the cutouts for the IO panel and 3 slots for wifi card and graphics card.

Then fit and inserting. The new back I'll screw it later with screws.

    That's about it again

    So friends of disorderly conduct.

A name, the project has also

    FIORE

This is Italian and means flower

After I currently run 7h Live modding, there's another update from the last days

So it was off the top.

The reset and power buttons are I did not like that.
Therefore, these had to leave and be replaced later by a remote control.

So disassemble only times and cut out the panel.

Then I have the grid and the edge.

Now I was able to adjust the sheet with the flower.
Among the flowering will find its place later a self-made Plexi Conditions.

The grating had to be separated out even at the opening.

The slot in drive, I then also made a little air.

Of a aluminum sheet, I then folded the cover of the drive.

    Next tig welding.
So weld preparation and side panels finished.

    Then weld and grind.

In the next step I cut the slot
    [IMG]

Before I then welded the top two pieces together, I have designed and measured everything.

    Welding and grinding
    [IMG]

Of course, then the plastic grid needs to be adjusted again.

Finally, I've filed the ports for USB and headset in da sheets.

    So that's it then again.

    update:

Remote control and runners have come.

Then it was on to the back wall. I have now screwed threaded sockets with rivet.

Then I started the assembly with the guide rails.

Next, I then marked out the position of the runners on the side panel.
Above, the screwed onto the bushing in the side cover and bottom with an adapter plate.

Since the rack for the drive is installed above, I have an even folded a sheet of aluminum to view this then screw.
The sheet is clamped between the rail and the side panel.

In the next step I folded an aluminum cover. The deck on the top track.

That's it then. I will proceed with the lower guide.

    update :

After the expansion tank is finished you go to the side panel motorization .

To see where I can accommodate the engine I've installed the Radi and put the power supply to its planned position .

First of the Radi in the front
    [IMG]

The plan was to let the power supply completely , but that will probably not because I then the graphics card does not get inside.
So I'm going to miss the power supply ne new panel .

So I 'll take care of later .

Continue with the side part .

First, the rack has been mounted .

From a piece of aluminum sheet aluminum sheet , I then made the engine mount .

Then I built the engine . over the two Bfestigungsschrauben can then also the motor tensioning and emergency release if you have time to open the side panel and the NT is not working .

    The test

After the engine has found its place I can also install the Terms . What I was clear beforehand that it is tight. But so close I did not think
I'll look at the pictures speak for themselves
    [IMG]

That I might gain space for graphics cards covering first had the plugs are angled .

Every pin edge and reinforce with solder.

Then I changed the plugs .

    And all built together .

That is the surplus the I do not need the graphics card connector
    [IMG]

Next, I screwed the AC adapter into the ground .

Then there had to slim down the processor connector .
Law that what is built , left the surplus.

Now the same game with the ATX connector only as yet came to the sleeving .

The plug , I then missed another panel made of aluminum .

Thus, the power supply would be done .
