    Hi all,
    am looking to buy a new motherboard + processor, and so thought it would make sense to just get a bundle (i.e. + HSF + mem).

    I've found however that most suppliers seem not to do bundles anymore.

    I can only find Novatech, you guys got any other suggestions?

    OcUK - rep of terrible customer service.
    NovaTech - I know, did you :read:?

    Scan - where? I may be being thick, but I can't see a Bundle category.

    Thanks Lizard.

    They're way out of my budget however.

    Meh, most bundles never seem to have what I want and only work out marginally cheaper anyway. You're probably just better off buying them separately from the cheapest places you can find.

    True, but my main reason for wanting to buy a bundle is that, since I've been out of the hardware loop for more than a few months (actually a coupla years), I won't know what can work with what.

    My requirements are somewhat vague and non-technical:
    ATX (to be sure that it has enough PCI slots)
    Many USB ports (>= 6)
    Multi-core
    >= 4GB mem

    How much are you looking to spend altogether?

    Given that I only need mobo + processor (+ HSF maybe), no more than £250.
    But that could be stretched if I need DDR3 instead.

    Is that realistic?

    perfectly realistic. if you streched to £300 you could even get an i5 570 with a cheapish mobo and 4GB DDR3 ram. that would be cutting it on the cheap side though, and wouldnt really overclock.

    You could get a good AMD/C2Q setup for that price, but i wouldnt know which to recomend.

    I'm not really interested in OC'ing, so that's not an issue.
