Hi, i've just got a lian li pc-v2010 and really want to get the internals powdercoated, but it looks like a REALLY expensive thing to have done for what it is, ive been seeing prices of £60-£80, which seems really really expensive. Basicly, does anybody know of a good cheap powdercoaters?
try www.watercoolinguk.co.uk if not TTL www.tinytomlogan.co.uk check his work on his forum section on OC3d (overclock3d)
£60 to £80 is the norm matey for internals and its far cheaper than normal paint. Your cvase has to have all the rivets removed from it to do the internals. My prices start from £50 if you are interested?
The prices youve been quoted seem about right, have you tried looking for a powder coater local? They might be able to offer a bit of a deal.
Looked at tom, getting stuff from his shop, very good deals on water cooling stuff. Ive tried to find local powercoaters but I cant find any nearby.
Something must have gone very wrong with your case for you to think that, ive seen lots of good jobs by him, not just through pics, but physically infront of me.
To be honest, the price of the gun and paint, coupled with my inexpereince, £50 for a proffessional job with a huge range og colours seems a better option
It was more of a joke then a serious post, but it's still a suggestion who would like to do a lot of power coating talladega- power coat is a plastic (baking plastic ) so I'm guessing it would be unsafe but I could be wrong
