I'm going to be getting the old dermal out on my mates case as his new GPU is to big for his case. the power cables stick into the side panel stopping it from closing.
so was going to cut the side panel so the cables can poke out a little.

so it don't look a mess and to help the cables from not getting cut im looking for the rubber grommet used in cable management holes in cases or something similar. Just a strip of rubber that can slip onto the metal will do.

    any help? :dremel:

Yeah I've just bought some on eBay too, if the panel is perspex I would probably heat it and bubble it so it clears

Easiest way is to drill or small hole saw the two ends and cut/join em up with the dremel .

As you said, if it's metal, you could draw out the shape, and drill round the edge with small bits and either jigsaw it or break the part out with a file,
The rubber strip will hide any small imperfections. :dremel:
