Change the HDD to a segate momentus XT hybrid drive and swap the ATI card for an Nvidia GTX 570 and your good to go for day to day use, gaming and folding - since you now have to join our team given that you posted this in a folding forum
if you're wanting to fold on it, you'd be better of stumping up the extra for the 2600k... and buy an after-market cooler such as the Thermaltake Frio, Titan Fenrir or BeQuiet DarkRock Pro... The stock intel jobbie is much improved over earlier ones but it's still pants... can't comment on the mobo... not had an MSI one for ages... same with PSU and case, not used them personally so can't comment as to whether or not they're any good... SATA 6Gb/s, on a mechanical drive is completely and utterly pointless, get a regular [SATA 3Gb/s] 1TB drive of your choice, be it a WD Caviar or Samsung Spinpoint [personal prefernce is for the Samsung] after numerous bad experinces with ATi/AMD card i wouldn't touch one with a very long stick so if it was me and my money i'd go for a GTX 560ti or a 570
Sorry to so long to respound. Folder? I thought this wa the computer build section Wow didn't notice that. I rather nvidia but best price for performance was ati/ and card from what I read. I will check out that motherboard.
Im my opinion these are the best 560 ti and 570 cards: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1gb-...mhz-gddr5-gpu-950mhz-shader-1900mhz-384-cores http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280mb-gigabyte-gtx-570-super-overclock-gddr5-shader-1690mhz If you are to be folding the higher Core speed the better or more PPD you will achieve.
