Windows KiXtart

    Hello All

    Anyone here have any experiance with this? I have a script that a customer has asked me to deploy on a LAN. I have never used it and the customer isnt sure either (it came off another server).

    I'm not sure why you would want to even deploy that.
    Looking up what it does you can do all this easily from Group Policy.

    It's set to map some drives and add a couple of printers. From what I can see I need to add the KiXtart files and script in the NETLOGON folder in Sysvol.

    Sounds about right.
    I'd ditch the lot and deploythem via GP.
    Gone are the days of batch scripts.

    you have to use a bat file to call the kix32.exe and then the kix file

    Use it on a customers network for the moment
