    hello peeps well i will just start buy saying iv been sorting out my old pc hardware witch i have meny box's of doing a spring clean getting rid of unwonted stuff to make some cash but lets cut a very long story short my god when i finished sorting the box's i had a mountin of ide cables i could count about 15 ide cables and im shure there is more about the house my Q is how meny do you have???

    I just found a dozen that I had stuck into a box and forgotten about. I probably have another 8+ in various other boxes, but the whole lot is getting binned in short order here.

    oh WOW, I am packed with them. I have a large box of them, and I already throw half of them. I was planning to keep 2 of them and 2 floppy ones just in case, and trow what I have now.. Now I am starting to pile up SATA cables :D

    I've got about 15, that I know of, probably more if I start hunting around, I don't actually remember the last time I used one, but every time I buy a mobo, there's another cable.

    8 IDE + 3 floppy that I keep in a box. I occasionally try to dispose of them when I repair pc's in my family.....sometime I install a sata device the opposit happen XD Moaarrrrrr. I needed one last week to install WinXP, the board hadnt any sata.


    -1 There are places who take hardware garbages for recycling. You shouldnt throw them in the bin

    I think only 3 in total one of which is in use. Now compare that to the number of DVI/HDMI/VGA/DisplayPort cables i have about a dozen of those.
