Just wondering what free software (freeware or open source, doesn't matter) the people at bit-tech use on a daily basis. For me, the pieces of free software that I use daily are:

    Firefox
    Steam
    avast! Free Antivirus
    Spotify
    uTorrent
    iTunes
    VLC media player
    RivaTuner
    OpenOffice

Let's hear from the rest of you :thumb:

Chrome(I switched from FF, mostly since FF has a bad case of memory leak after 3 or so hours)
    VLC Media Player
    7-zip
    SUPER Media converter
    Steam
Linux Live CD(for fixing things up)

Azureus 2.5.0.4 i hate the new interface since they went all comercial.
Sigh Steam - dont like them but i need them
    Open office
    COMODO
    avast
    CDisplay
Media player + the excelent codecs the K-lite Codec pack
I guess the driver stuff from Creative and Nvidia
I wouldnt die without it but Logitec Setpoint is far from useless

    eMule
    FileZilla
    Mozilla
    Acrobat reader
Winrar - (it keeps asking me to buy it so i guess it doenst want to be free)

Without the above installed using a pc is such an irritation.

Nearly forgot HW monitor and CPUZ and GPUZ Riva Tuner wouldnt be much of a Custom PC er without them a.
