Me and a group of friends are just starting to get into Arma 2 (Among all the other things we play), but one of us doesn't have a desktop powerful enough to run the game and he isn't exactly swimming in cash. I tried putting together a pc that can run Arma on a 1080p screen as cheaply as possibly and ended up with this:

I'm a little unsure about the PSU included with the case, but otherwise it seems fine to me.

Do you guys think this will run the game at a framerate he can live with, and/or would you suggest any improvements?

(also, are you allowed to ask people about buying 2nd hand parts here, outside the marketplace?)

    Thanks,
    Wira

Hi i built my my son nearly the same pc a few months ago but i got him a asus 6850 and it seams to play games fine :) but hes not playing at 1080p so the bump up to a 6870 should be just fine just don't expect ultra settings thats all :thumb:

As for the psu it only has one pcie so you will have to use the adapter that comes with the card but other than that it should be fine after all it is coolermaster :)

Harddrive tho i would go for this http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1tb-seagate-st1000dm003-barracuda-720014-sata-6gb-s-7200rpm-64mb-cache-8ms-ncq-oem

is will be a lot quicker :)
