Ok, so the new 1000fps CS:S server is up and running. The old server is now running 20slot Gungame @ 85.236.101.78:27115 . Any suggestions or feedback would be useful, especially when it comes to maps. There is a shedload available on the server so its a case of see what they are like as we go, but if you know of any particularly good ones/easy on the eyes then let us know.
Friendly Fire is a big NO as far as im concerned in GG Random guns (like its at atm) can be quite fun and even. But can get quite boring due to lack of structure, could always try it in order see how things are, Could put these 2 into polls or something. I have no idea for maps as i never remember names. Also, if you try the 'guns unlocked in order' idea, its quite fun (and makes some maps for organised) to only unlock the next gun for next round, although this can make some maps stretch. Just some ideas, i'll carry on thinking.
Pfft, in my experience it just f*cks people off. And in small maps it is a total bitch. At least dont have spawn protection on for team attacks, (the one that slays).

If they're on nade round and chucking em like a spaz then hells yeah if it drops em a level. There are no team mates on gun game, just *******s I'm advised not to kill.
Knife fightfor the last two...? aim_deagle is an awesome map if I remember the name correctly, think there's a few variations on light levels available. I played one called corridor something once, just 5 linear rooms with motion sensor doors between, teams spawn in the end rooms. Nice variation from the wider maps. aim_textures (again, IIRC) is good for longer rounds. PS sorry if these are all already on there, haven't been on yet. Itching for a good gungame
I'm all for this server because GunGame is fun and addictive. What the server needs, though, is people on it! I was playing CSS most of last night and there were barely any players on the whole time
THANK YOU! just because FF may be off you still place nades, not very likely another team mate is going to be in a group of enemies. And IMO, knife fights for last 2 result it, 1. people calling "*****" at someone who doesnt knife (mostly me who doesnt knife) 2. making rounds tedius and boring
I enjoy a good knife fight personally, both to play and watch.Especially with the beer song playing over the top There needs to be at least one good player tho, 2 or 3 minutes of backpedalling is nooooot fun. I used to skip knifefights until I figured one death made little difference and I may as well learn how to do it some time
Last evening was chocka....I like to think it's because I have about half the regs on my Friends list, but I doubt they stalk me that much....or do they? :S
